Pitch oil is used to treat summer rashes and insect bites. 

Directions for use: mix ¼ pitch oil with ¾ castor or olive oil. Apply the mixture to the animal’s fur and rub gently until it is absorbed. Castor oil absorbs well and supports hair growth.

Used for steam inhalation:
• a few drops in a small amount of boiling water
• a few drops in sauna water
