Pulsar PSP-50 Adapter (Krypton and Proton)

Intended Use
Pulsar PSP adapters are specifically designed to mount Krypton thermal imaging modules in front of daytime optics. Each model comes with a selection of adapter rings, the size of which is chosen based on the external dimensions of the daytime optics. The PSP-50 Adapter is suitable for 50-60mm optics (outer diameter of the binoculars). The adapter’s fine-tuning alignment mechanism ensures the largest possible field of view. Once installed, the adapter remains permanently attached to the daytime optics so that the front attachment can be quickly deployed. During the day, or when the front attachment is not in use, a lens cap (included in the package) can be attached to the adapter to protect the day optics’ lens from damage.

Metal Frame
The PSP adapter’s components are made of various metals. The frame is made of a milled aluminum alloy that is extremely strong and lightweight. The screws, spring, clamping mechanism, and bayonet pins are made of steel.

Adjustment rings
To ensure the adapter fits securely onto the body of the daytime optics (including not only rifle scopes but also spotting scopes or binoculars), you must use the most suitable adjustment ring from the included set. These rings are molded from plastic and ensure a secure grip on the daytime optics as well as a stable installation (sturdiness and even positioning).

Quick-release lock
The threaded connection ensures a secure, gap-free connection between the thermal attachment and the PSP adapter.Installation onto the day optics frame requires no special tools (wrenches, etc.); all adjustments are made using a simple hex wrench, which is included in the package. The actual attachment is achieved by pressing the clamping lever. The clamping mechanism rotates horizontally (in the same direction as the optical axis of the day optics and the front attachment), so the adapter cannot shift out of place after installation. If desired, the user can install the clamping mechanism on either the left or right side of the adapter, depending on their handedness.

Excellent resistance to temperature fluctuations
Temperature changes do not affect the device’s operation. (For example, an adapter installed indoors can be safely taken outside in freezing conditions without the need for intermediate adjustments.)

Fine-tunable alignment within the field of view of a day sight
The alignment of the thermal attachment’s display can be adjusted within the field of view of optical or other day sights using a mechanical component specifically designed for this purpose. The viewing experience becomes complete, informative, and seamless.

Long, maintenance-free service life
The adapter is designed to operate reliably for a long time, maintenance-free, even when used in conjunction with rifle scopes attached to large-caliber firearms. Its durability and the reliability of all its components allow the adapter to be used in conditions where even the night vision or thermal attachments themselves would no longer function.
