The short and wide OAC WAP 129 is the ideal snowshoe for deep snow, especially on softer snow and in dense forests, where lightness and agility are required. 

Thanks to its redesigned shape, the WAP offers even better support. With its composite base, the WAP is the ideal choice for activities such as walking with dogs.

What is a snowshoe? How is it used?

Snowshoe, fur-soled ski, climbing ski. In short, the OAC Skinbased WAP 129 combines the best features of snowshoes and cross-country skis; you can move nimbly through forested terrain and ski down hills just like on regular skis, or experience the joy of skiing even in a city park. You don’t need groomed trails—as long as there’s snow, you’re guaranteed to get where you’re going.

Glide snowshoes are ideal for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, and even those who work in the woods. They make climbing uphill a breeze and descending even faster. With a length of 250 cm, they offer the same carrying capacity as a standard forest ski, yet their significantly shorter length makes them exceptionally agile—you won’t have to worry about where you can turn.

OAC Skinbased skis are waxed at the factory and are completely ready to use right out of the box after installing the binding tips and heel pieces.
