Combining the glide of a cross-country ski with the agility of a snowshoe results in this type of snowshoe. This snowshoe is significantly shorter than a standard cross-country ski but considerably wider, ensuring good buoyancy even in deep snow. The tip of the ski is wider than the tail, so it floats well even in deep snow.

The center of the ski’s base features a grippy, fish-scale-patterned Fish Skin grip; when the ski glides forward, the grip doesn’t slow you down, but when the ski moves backward, the grip engages.

Binding: The ski touring binding is adjustable and fits boots sizes 36–45. The binding features a hinge mechanism and can be quickly adjusted. Suitable for hiking boots, rubber boots, etc. To adjust the binding, squeeze the metal pin on the binding frame to release the lock. Move the binding to the correct position so that the stoppers at the front of the binding grip the toe of the shoe, and move the rear of the binding to grip the heel of the shoe. Then lock it in place. Adjust the binding at home and test it before heading out.
