When a dog is panting or has an upset stomach, isn’t plain water enough? No, because in addition to water, a dog also needs electrolytes to restore fluid balance. Diarrhea and loose stools cause dogs to lose large amounts of fluid, putting them at risk of dehydration.Green Canion© is suitable for active or competitive dogs (e.g., agility, hunting, tracking trials) as well as for any dog needing to restore electrolyte and fluid balance (e.g., if the dog has trouble drinking during car trips, in the summer heat, at dog shows, during recovery, while nursing, or during childbirth). Instructions for use:

A 500 g jar yields 15–50 liters of ready-to-drink solution. The product can be served with water (cold or hot), mixed into food, or given as is.

Tips for using the mixed product:

The product has a very long shelf life (best before 1½ years). The only potential issue with the product is that the lid may remain open, causing the product to dry out (especially in winter, when the dry weather can draw moisture from the product and cause it to dry out)

On the other hand, a hardened product is easy to soften. Fill the measuring spoon included with the product halfway with water, carefully place the spoon on top of the product, and close the lid (do not pour water directly onto the product). Within 1–2 days, the dry, hardened product will absorb the water from the spoon, evenly moistening the product and softening it again. (If a little water spilled onto the product, use that portion first)

• The container has been carefully selected to keep the product soft
• Temperature fluctuations should not affect the product’s shelf life (but we wouldn’t leave it in a hot car for a day)
• The product mixed with water should be used within the same day. When mixed in the refrigerator, the product will keep for about 3–4 days
• The product can also be served mixed with cold or hot water
