Ballistol Blueing Agent

Ballistol Blueing Agent is suitable for repairing damaged blued areas on firearms. This easy-to-use blueing agent adheres well and offers excellent resistance to abrasion. Ballistol Blueing Agent can be used on steel with a chromium content of up to 3%.

Clean the area of the firearm to be blued with a degreaser, after which Ballistol bluing compound can be applied to the dry area using, for example, a cotton swab. After application, wait approximately three minutes, during which time the compound will turn a pale yellowish color. After this, wipe the area clean with a damp cloth. Finally, it is recommended to treat the area with a protective ceramic gun oil or general-purpose oil
