The KarDog Saga is a lightweight, buoyant safety vest for your hunting dog. It provides good chest protection for the dog, and the materials are durable. Based on testing, snow melts inside the vest due to the dog’s body heat and does not accumulate ice. The vest contains buoyant material. The vest is not a life jacket, but it gives the dog owner more time to rescue the dog from drowning. NOT SUITABLE FOR WARM WEATHER, as the buoyant material keeps the dog warm. The vest is a highly visible orange/yellow color. This helps you see which way the dog is moving in overgrown terrain. The Saga vest is suitable for small dogs, such as Dachshunds, Beagles, and Dreevers. Note! Unlike the picture, the vest is two-tone yellow/orange!
