If you don’t want to keep buying plastic toy doors, choose this one! A completely airtight dog door with perfect stainless steel bite guards. The door is made of film-laminated plywood. The door has two sealed, spring-loaded doors that open in opposite directions. The door is particularly suitable for dogs with heating in their kennel. The door is completely draft-free and energy-efficient. The XL door fits an opening that is 50–60 cm high and 40–50 cm wide. The door’s excellence is based on a double-spring system, which allows it to open both inward and outward and close tightly automatically.
A door of this size is suitable for large dog breeds. Note! When selecting a door of the appropriate size, the size is determined by the dog’s chest height, not the withers height!

Installation and Maintenance Instructions

Installing the door is easy when you follow these instructions:

Install the door on the outside of the kennel or doghouse, or in a partition, so that the hinge tube is vertical and the smaller door opens inward. You can secure the door tightly to the wall by placing a thin strip of foam between the door and the wall, for example.

Secure the door to the wall with eight screws, aligning them with the pre-drilled holes. Do not tighten the screws too tightly, so that the door frame does not warp. Tighten the mounting screws with a screwdriver, for example!

By maintaining the door regularly, you ensure its functionality for years to come! Regularly apply oil or grease to the door hinges to keep them moving smoothly. Depending on the conditions and your dogs’ habits, it’s also a good idea to replace the door seals as needed.
