The motion detector for the passive guard is a weatherproof, compact (75 x 75 x 45 mm) unit that can be either permanently mounted to a structure using an adjustable bracket or secured around a tree or stand using the included strap. It is powered by a 9-volt button cell battery. The sensor operates on the principle of invisible infrared light.

The sensor’s beam angle is 90 degrees and the detection range is up to 10 meters. The motion detector can be placed near a feeder, a bait site, or along the animals’ expected path. Upon detecting movement, the detector transmits a wireless signal at a frequency of 433 MHz to the receiver, which is in the hunter’s pocket or on their belt

Receiver

The signal range is stated as 100 meters in unobstructed terrain. The receiver is a box measuring 70 x 55 x 25 mm. It is powered by 3 AAA batteries or a rechargeable battery.

The Passivahdi receiver has a speaker that beeps when the transmitter detects movement. The volume is adjustable. A wired earbud headset is also included. When its plug is inserted into the receiver, the speaker is muted and the alert is heard only in the ear. The receiver has a VERY powerful vibration. An excellent feature that allows you to keep the receiver even in your jacket pocket
