We followed experienced crow hunters Rikard Lewander and Mikael Grankvist on a series of hunts with crow decoys in late summer, autumn, and spring. The result is not only angry crows and lots of shots, but also many interesting tips for those who want to improve their own crow hunting skills.

As is well known, this form of hunting is based on the crows' anger towards their natural enemy, the eagle owl. At night, the eagle owl takes them from their roosts without the slightest problem, so when they get a chance to retaliate in daylight, they are more than happy to take it. But sometimes it is curiosity rather than aggression that draws crows to the owl. Here you will learn when to expect one or the other and how it can affect your hunt. You will get a number of tips on how to choose the right place to hunt, learn how the weather affects the hunt, and how to choose the right moment to shoot. And much more!
