Product description
The gun cover is an accessory for gun cases with a narrow gun compartment, such as the Eberlestock X1A1, X1E, J34, J107, H2 (the H2 backpack does not have quick-release fasteners). The gun cover also fits the A1SS, A2SS, and A2LS gun cases.
This cover protects your rifle from rain and the harmful rust it causes. The gun cover can also be used as a packing bag inside a backpack. The narrow cover can hold a thermos bottle and a day's worth of snacks. Gun covers can also be used as waterproof seat pads. An open-top gun case can collect debris and snow, depending on the terrain you are traveling in. With this gun cover, or gun case extension, you can make the gun case closed and protect your gun and optics at the same time. The cover has quick-release straps with counterparts located near the opening of the gun case.
If you leave the quick-release fasteners/fastening straps unfastened, we recommend that you fasten the gun cover straps to each other by twisting them around the cover so that the straps do not swing loose. The straps can also be removed from the cover.
Inside the cover is an extension sleeve that protects the weapon's locking mechanism and optics from snow, ice, sand, and water. With the weapon cover, you can instantly turn your backpack into a padded, closed weapon bag that protects your weapon during transport. The straps of the cover are long, so you can secure a weapon up to 130-140 cm long. Installation: - Place the weapon cover over the rear of the weapon and pull the "sleeve" inside the cover over the weapon's optics. This protects the optics from rain, debris, and snow.- Push the weapon with the cover as far as possible into the weapon compartment of the backpack.
- If desired, lock the cover/weapon with quick-release fasteners and tighten the straps so that the weapon is pressed against the bottom of the compartment.
- Please note that in X1A1, J104, J107 backpacks, the counterparts to the quick-release fasteners on the gun cover are located on the right side of the opening of the gun compartment (open the strap to reveal the male and female connectors). This means that they are not completely aligned with the cover. This placement is intended to prevent the straps from interfering with the removal of the weapon from the case. At the same time, you can tighten the weapon toward the center of the backpack so that it does not swing around in the case. Select the color you want from the menu!
