KarDog Helmi Cut-Resistant Vest, 2-Color

The KarDog Helmi cut-resistant vest is made of flexible material. The vest effectively protects the underside of the belly from the neck to the sides against scratches and sharp twigs, sticks, etc. The cut-resistant fabric is thin but extremely durable. Cut-resistance rating 5, which is the highest rating for these fabrics. A vest with an excellent fit for your dog!

The underbelly material has a very slippery surface. Elastic rubber edging at the leg openings is only found on the orange and yellow versions.

The colored sections also stretch slightly. The fabric is not waterproof. The underbelly panel is shaped to be curved between the front legs.

The fabric stretches during use but returns to its original shape when dry. However, it is recommended to clean the vest after each use to maintain the fabric’s elasticity and prevent dirt from drying into the fibers. Likewise, the colors stay brighter for longer.

What is cut-resistant fabric typically used for: to protect against cut injuries caused by various blades. It is suitable for everything from ice hockey to professional kitchens and from construction sites to emergency personnel.

The vest is available in five different sizes. Size XS (approx. 6–9 kg) and size S (10–13 kg) are suitable for dachshund-sized dogs. Size M (14–17 kg) is for dachshund-sized dogs. For larger breeds, size L is generally suitable for females and size XL for males. Size L (18–23 kg) and size XL (23–30 kg). These are only guidelines, so always check your dog’s measurements against the size chart. Thanks to its flexibility, the same size fits many dog breeds.

Reflectors on the sides. Zipper closure with a Velcro-fastened protective flap. The protective flap has snaps at both ends.
Washing instructions: The vest can be machine washed at 40 degrees. Do not tumble dry or iron.
