A true pocket-sized thermal camera
The Pulsar Axion XQ30 Pro thermal camera fits into even the smallest of spaces and can be carried with you, even in your pocket. It weighs less than 300 grams with the battery! This makes it the perfect companion for nature observation. The device is easy to hold and use regardless of whether the owner is left- or right-handed, as the design is symmetrical and the control buttons are sensibly placed on top of the device.

Detection range up to 850 meters

With the AXION XQ30 Pro thermal camera, you can see far away, even though the device is tiny and fits in a breast pocket. The manufacturing process used for Axion’s lenses is highly precise, resulting in a truly clear and detailed image from its sensitive and large thermal image sensor (17µm pixel pitch, 384x288 pixels, NETD <25 mK). Compared to the previous XM30F model, the XQ30 Pro features a larger 17µm pixel sensor , compared to the previous smaller 12µm pixel sensor. A typical 1.8-meter-tall target is visible from a distance of 850 meters, even in pitch darkness.

Full optical zoom
The thermal camera solves many practical observation problems even at its base magnification. The AXION XQ30 Pro thermal camera with 2x magnification is well-suited, for example, for locating animals and counting antlers at short and medium ranges. The field of view is more than sufficient for monitoring rapidly changing events. The magnification can be digitally increased to 4x to facilitate the identification of more distant targets.

Rugged magnesium alloy body
The AXION XQ30 Pro is built for continuous and often harsh use. It features a sturdy and durable magnesium alloy body that is still lightweight. The body effectively protects the device’s internal components—especially its most critical part, the thermal imaging sensor—from impacts, drops, moisture, heat, and cold. The metal body also acts as a heat sink, dissipating waste heat generated inside the device (especially in the thermal imaging sensor), reducing noise, and keeping the thermal imaging sensor stable even during extended use.

Low power consumption 8 hours of continuous use on a single charge
The thermal camera’s quick-swap, rechargeable APS3 battery allows for up to 8 hours of continuous use on a single charge. Removing the battery from the device and replacing it with a new one takes only a couple of seconds. The battery can be charged either in a dedicated APS or APS-V battery charger (products 79165 and 79186) or inside the device by connecting the device’s USB port to a computer, AC power adapter, or backup power source. The same USB port can also be used for wired data transfer.

Freeze-resistant AMOLED display
The AMOLED display offers improved color reproduction, saves power, features high contrast and a short response time, and produces a bright, smooth image even when you’re moving around in cold outdoor conditions.

Stream Vision 2. Integrates with iOS and Android devices
The built-in Wi-Fi module works wirelessly with Android and iOS smart devices using the free Stream Vision 2 app. This combination opens up new possibilities for using your device: for example, you can update the firmware wirelessly, transfer images to your smartphone in real time, remotely control the device’s digital functions, and more. Users who register for the app receive free cloud storage where they can save footage captured on their device.

Eight Color Palettes
A selection of eight different color palettes improves visibility in various conditions, allowing you to choose the option best suited to each situation and viewing environment. Hot white, hot black, and hot red make it easier to detect movement, while rainbow and ultramarine highlight temperature differences between objects and facilitate identification. Red monochrome, sepia, and violet reduce eye strain and are best suited for long-term night surveillance.

Photo and Video Recording
The built-in photo and video recorder is an excellent tool when you want to capture videos or photos of your unique experiences. A single press of the REC button starts recording. You can easily share your footage with colleagues, friends, and family. The 16-gigabyte internal memory can hold hours of video and tons of photos.
