The bullet’s impressive muzzle velocity of 808 m/s gives it a very straight trajectory, allowing for accurate long-range shots. Accurate distance estimation is also unnecessary when the trajectory is this straight. The CCI 17 gr VNT cartridge is an excellent choice for hunting small game and non-game birds, as well as for fur hunting. We do not recommend this cartridge for edible game, as the impact completely destroys the target.
