NITEforce VHF Radio Ground Cable

The NITEforce ground wire antenna is precisely tuned to the center of the VHF channel frequencies (1–26) used in Finland, allowing you to use the same ground wire even if channels are changed during the hunt. The cable features a soft silicone outer sheath with a flexible copper core. The mounting loop that attaches under the VHF radio antenna is made of solid copper. Copper is by far the best material choice for a ground wire!

How does the NITEforce ground wire antenna work?

The NITEforce ground wire antenna, together with your VHF radio’s own antenna, creates a unified dipole effect. As both antennas complement each other, this improves your VHF radio’s overall radiation pattern, allowing you to hear and transmit over greater distances.

The VHF radio ground wire antenna is suitable for all VHF radios where the antenna’s grounding point is bare metal at the base of the antenna. The end of the ground wire features a solid copper loop that is secured under the phone’s own antenna. If necessary, the copper loop on the ground wire can be trimmed to fit your specific phone, for example by shortening it or adjusting the loop size. During use, the silicone cable should hang straight down freely under its own weight.
