Köykänen Dry Food

Köykänen is, well, the “leanest” of our Kuivamuona products. That means it has the fewest calories of all our dry meals (approx. 400 kcal per meal). Don’t let that fool you, though. Köykänen is an extremely good and delicious meal with a nice amount of protein (approx. 20g per meal). It contains dried meat, vegetables, and rice. All you need to do is add water and wait about 10 minutes.

Preparing the meal

• Boil water. Tear open the bag along the tear notch at the top of the bag, above the resealable mechanism.
• Pour hot water into the bag so that the water level is even with the top of the dry meal. The amount is about 1.5 dl.
• Open the bottom of the bag completely.
• Mix the dry meal thoroughly with the water to achieve the smoothest possible result.
• Let it steep for 5–10 minutes.
• Carefully tear off the excess packaging material from the tear notch in the middle of the bag to make eating easier; be careful not to let the bag tear downward.
