The Dovrefjell moose-orange jacket more than meets the requirements for the orange high-visibility color mandated by the new hunting law for hunting deer species (moose, white-tailed deer, roe deer, forest reindeer, red deer, and Japanese sika deer). Minimum orange color requirement for deer hunting in Finland in 2018: 2/3 orange (approx. 80%).

The Dovrefjell Hunter Vision Pro Moose Orange jacket features an orange Kings® Blaze safety camo color that more than meets (approx. 80% orange) the requirements of the new hunting law regarding the use of orange high-visibility color in deer hunting.

10K Active Membrane windproof and waterproof membrane
The Dovrefjell Hunter Vision Pro Moose Orange jacket features a 100% waterproof membrane that ensures you stay warm and dry in wind and snow. The membrane has a water column rating of 10,000 mm, which keeps rain out while allowing sweat vapor to escape.

Optimal Lufting – Breathable Technology

YKK® Tractor ZIP Large-toothed tractor-style zipper
All Dovrefjell hunting jackets feature a high-quality, two-way YKK® zipper with large tractor-style teeth. The YKK® zipper with larger teeth slides open and closed more easily than a comparable zipper with smaller teeth. The large-toothed YKK® zipper is also more durable.

TECHNICAL SPECS OF THE MOOSE ORANGE JACKET
Sturdy two-way YKK® Tractor ZIP with a protective flap. Large-toothed tractor-style zipper. High, adjustable collar with an integrated, adjustable, and detachable hood at the back. The hood is wind- and waterproof and can be adjusted from the back so that the hood’s brim does not cover the eyes.

There are 6 pockets on the outside of the jacket: Both (2) lower pockets can be closed with flaps equipped with snaps as well as zippers. The hand pockets in the middle on both sides can be closed with a zipper and a flap. The upper pockets on both sides allow you to store, for example, a VHF radio or cell phone during a hunt, protected from the rain on either the right or left side. When the VHF radio is in the upper pocket, there is a mount on the shoulder for the antenna that prevents it from flapping.

There are 2 pockets on the inside of the jacket: a zippered chest pocket on the left behind the flap and a VHF radio pocket at the bottom left. On the upper left is an antenna mount for use with a long antenna. The unique VHF radio pocket on the inside of the jacket prevents the radio from getting wet during a day out on the water.
The jacket can be tightened at the waist and hem using quick-release buckles. Ventilation flaps with zippers and Velcro closures in both armpits. The jacket cuffs can be tightened with Velcro to the exact desired tightness.

CARE AND WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

• Wash in water at max +40°C
• Do not use regular fabric softener; use only those intended for membrane garments
• Do not tumble dry (hang to dry at room temperature)
• Do not dry clean
• Do not use bleach
• Do not iron it either
• Even strong fabric can tear when ironed, so always be careful of snags
• This is not a firefighter’s uniform, so keep an eye out for sparks when near a campfire
